Nanfangao has always been treated as a place for hasty and commercial-based tourism. This conundrum exists in every major attractions in Taiwan. Here, we propose a solution for the relationship between tourism and local culture through three aspects: different time, different perspective, and different speed. Differ from the four previous issues, where we perceive Nanfangao through various artists, the fifth issue unfolds our thought process — how and why we proceed with the plans we have for Nanfangao.
